Hi!
Overgear is an international e-commerce platform for gamers. We help players save time and enable professional gamers to earn from their expertise.
Since 2017, we have been building a product for a global audience, primarily across the US and Europe. Overgear is trusted by users around the world: we have 34,000+ reviews on Trustpilot with a 4.9/5 rating, and our website attracts 300,000+ users every month.
We are now looking for a Paid Social Manager to take full ownership of Overgear’s paid social acquisition across the US and EU markets: Meta, TikTok, and Reddit.
This is a highly independent role — from developing hypotheses and creative concepts to analyzing performance and deciding where the next dollar of budget should go.
What you’ll do
What matters to us
Nice to have
What you’ll need to achieve in your first 3 months
Months 1–2 — Meta
Take ownership of the channel, increase the share of new customers among total purchases, bring new-customer CAC closer to the target thresholds for each game cluster, and establish a consistent creative testing cycle.
Months 2–3 — TikTok
Launch the channel from scratch: set up the advertising account, pixel and events, tagging, initial campaigns, and creatives — and deliver measurable results from the pilot.
By the end of the probation period — Reddit
Assess the tracking and channel structure and make a data-backed decision: whether Reddit can be fixed and developed further, or whether it should be discontinued.
Why Overgear
At Overgear, you’ll work in a company that values outcomes over process for its own sake: what you built, and how it impacted the product, customers, team, or business.
We set a high but transparent bar. We trust people within their areas of ownership, communicate expectations openly, and give them the freedom to choose the solutions that are most likely to deliver results.
What we offer:
If you’re excited about scaling Paid Social, testing new creatives and channels, and finding strong solutions at the intersection of performance marketing, analytics, and product — we’d love to hear from you.
